How We Work –
When we’re contacted by a prospective client, we begin by asking a number of questions, and listening to the answers. We seek to determine in this initial conversation whether there potentially is a good fit – is your organization underserved by the current insurance vendor? Are you concerned that your agent or broker might not understand the intricacies of your operation? Do you wonder if there might be gaps in coverage, or unaddressed risks, in your insurance program?
If such needs are exposed, we ask a few more questions. We’re looking for insurance buyers who don’t want to waste anyone’s time, including their own. We can provide a better value to clients who value long-term relationships with their agent and their insurance companies (as long as everyone demonstrates consistent hard work on the client’s behalf). If you’re pretty happy with your current insurance agent and are just testing the market, we’d respectfully suggest you explore elsewhere.
If, after these initial discussions, we are each growing increasingly comfortable, then the real work begins. Frankly, it is work for both of us – because we start asking a lot of questions, and ask for documentation and exhibits, and have follow-up questions that will require prospective clients to dig into their files and archives so we wind up knowing a lot about who they are and what they do. By concentrating on this first step, we wind up knowing exactly what to recommend, who the best insurance company partners will be, and how to generate a better insurance value for your organization.
Then, once we know you, our job is to keep up with your changing activities and operations, explain the insurance products and programs to you, and answer any questions you might have. You can return to concentrating on the good works that your organization was set up to provide in the first place.
